Meet the Team

Sanjay Mangabhai

Sanjay Mangabhai is a dedicated small animal vet. He qualified in 1988 and together with his wife Meena, they have successfully run Hampton Park Vets since December 2000.

Sanjay has a keen interest in surgery - both soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. He has recently taken up jogging and he balances this with a healthy love of KFC. He has offered money to anyone in the practice who can run as fast as he can, but has had no takers yet!

Meena Mangabhai

Meena Mangabhai is our Practice Manager. She supports Sanjay with the smooth running of Hampton Park Vets. She works school hours to balance work with looking after their young son and daughter.

They also have 2 well fed cats - Jake and Smokey who are fed on Hills RD.

Paul Banwo has been a vet since 1998. He previously worked in Wales and Devon and now devotes his time to small animals.

He has a keen interest in medicine and animal welfare. His spare time is spent with his wife and 2 daughters and he is an avid Jack Bauer 24 fan.

Andy Thornton qualified in 1997 from Bristol University. He enjoys fishing and mountain biking and spending time with his 2 year old son.

He has 2 Bassets - Bob and Willie and a cat called Devon. Andy is particularly
interested in small animal surgery.

Laura Hannaford is our Office Manager. She has been at Hampton Park Vets since 2003.

She has a Labrador Lexie and a Border Collie Cookie and 2 cats Salem and Izzy to keep her busy at home.

Jo Kirkup is our Head Nurse. She has a degree in Animal Management and Applied Science. Jo has worked at Hampton Park since 2005..

She has 2 dogs and loves rock climbing in her spare time.

Fatima Lefouili is one of our Veterinary Nurses. Fatima is from France where she trained as a Nurse and obtained her Vet Nursing degree.

Fatima has an interest in languages and she plays handball.

Rebecca Eastham is one of our Veterinary Nurses. Beckie has a national diploma in animal management. She lives with two cats called Pepsi and Milly and she enjoys shopping

Mariska Exel is one of our Veterinary Nurses and she is from Holland. Mariska enjoys horse riding and she owns a Dutch Warmblood called Oletha. She also owns 3 lemmings and 2 leopard geckos.

Lyndsey Hatton is one of our Receptionists. She owns a gorgeous Border Terrier called Mij. Lyndsey enjoys horse riding and most sports.

Terry Jones is one of our Receptionists. Her time out of work is spent with her three children, two dogs and three cats.
