After Hours Service provided by Vets Now

Vets Now clinics are only open at nights, weekend and public holidays and work in partnership with Hampton Park Vets to provide this dedicated Out Of Hours emergency service.

Hampton Park vets has chosen to partner with Vets Now to enable them to deliver the best possible care for your pet 24 hours a day. Being able to use the Vets Now service means that if your pet becomes ill or is involved in an accident during the night or at the weekend you can rest assured that a dedicated emergency veterinary team is available to care for your pet should the worst happen. Vets Now staff only work outside normal working hours ensuring they are fresh and ready to see your pet whilst your own vet is off duty.

From the A345 North (Amesbury)
Head towards Salisbury on the A345 (Castle Road). Go straight ahead at the Castle Roundabout by taking the
2nd exit onto Castle Street. Cross over the mini-roundabout, take the next left onto Scots Lane and left again
onto Endless Street. Vets Now is on the left hand side.
From the A360 Devizes Road
Head towards Salisbury on the A360. At the St. Paul's Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A36 Churchill Way
West. At the Castle Roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Castle Street, then follow directions as above.
From the A30/A36 West (Wilton)
From Wilton take the A30 (Minster Street) and at the roundabout join the Salisbury Road (A36) by taking the 3rd
exit. Continue on the A36 (Churchill Way West) until the Castle Roundabout. Turn right (3rd exit) onto Castle
Street, then follow directions as above.
From the A338 North (The Winterbournes) & the A30 East (The Winterslows)
At St. Thomas's Bridge approach Salisbury on the A338 London Road. At the St. Mark's Roundabout take the
4th exit into Estcourt Road. Continue onto Bourne Hill and left again onto Bedwin Street. Turn right onto Endless
Street. Vets Now is on the left hand side.
From the A338 South (Downton, Fordingbridge)
Approach Salisbury on the A338 (New Bridge Road/Churchill Way South) until it becomes Churchill Way East
(A36) i.e. continue on the dual carriageway ringroad. Halfway up the Churchill Way East dual carriageway turn
left onto Bourne Hill and left again onto Bedwin Street. Turn right onto Endless Street. Vets Now is on the left
hand side.
From the A36 Southampton Road
At the college roundabout turn right onto Churchill Way East then follow the directions as above for the A338
South (Downton, Fordingbridge).
From the A354 Blandford Forum Road
Approach Salisbury on the ringroad until it becomes Churchill Way East then follow the directions as above for
the A338 South (Downton, Fordingbridge).

How do I contact Vets Now?

Using our service is simple.  Telephone 01722 416245 to get the Vets Now telephone number. Give the Vets Now clinic a call and their team will be ready to provide help and advice for your pet, and will be ready to see you at the surgery if required. If you do need to come down to the clinic, please bring any medication that your pet is taking with you.

Can I telephone just for advice?

Of course you can. Vets Now staff are able to give you advice over the phone and they will tell you if they think it is safe for your pet to wait until the morning to see a vet. However, if you really do wish to see a vet, rest assured our staff will always be happy to see you.

What do I do if my pet needs to see a vet outside working hours?

Using the Vets Now service is simple. Telephone 01722 416245 to get the Vets Now telephone number. Give their clinic a call and their team will be ready to provide help and advice for your pet, and will be ready to see you at the surgery if required.

If you do need to come down to the clinic, please bring any medication that your pet is taking with you.

Can I just turn up?

You should if possible call the Vets Now emergency clinic before coming down as our staff may need to prepare for your arrival.

Can the vet come to my house?

House visits are occasionally necessary, but in nearly all situations the best possible care for your pet is available at the Vets Now clinic. Bringing your pet to us will give us immediate access to the range of drugs and equipment we will need to begin treatment. The Vets Now staff will be able to advise on the safe transport of your pet to the clinic.

How do I pay for the service?

Payment should be made at the time of treatment.  We accept cash, credit and debit cards.  If your pet is insured, this may cover the costs.
